Columbus Yachts, a brand of the Palumbo Group, has announced the sale of the first unit in its 47 metre Atlantique series.
The 499GT yacht was designed inside and out by Milan-based studio Hot Lab and is due to be delivered in 2023.
Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests across five cabins, comprising four double cabins with ensuite bathrooms located on the lower deck and a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck.
Stand out amenities include a swimming pool on the forward upper deck, also home to an al fresco dining area with a bar and seating looking out over the ocean, and a large sun deck “dedicated to conviviality”. A second, smaller spa pool is found down at the open-air beach club, with steps on each side leading down to the water’s edge.
Power comes from two 1,350hp engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 3,400 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots.
Speaking about the sale Palumbo’s chief executive officer, Giuseppe Palumbo, said: “With the signing of this new contract, the number of new-build orders nailed down by Palumbo Superyachts has surged to eight.”
The news comes shortly after the shipyard announced the sale of its first two Atlantique 43 motor yachts, which are currently under construction at the yard’s Ancona facility.
